🥚 What Is Jangjorim?
Jangjorim is a classic Korean soy-braised dish that’s usually made with beef and hard-boiled eggs. I grew up eating it, but this shortcut version with ground beef and quail eggs has become one of my go-tos. It cooks much faster, but the flavor still feels wonderfully familiar — perfect if you want to try Korean home cooking without any complicated steps.

🛒 Ingredients
✔ Ground beef 200g
✔ Boiled quail eggs 30
✔ 6 tbsp soy sauce
✔ 1 tbsp sugar
✔ 1 tbsp minced garlic
✔ 200 ml water
✔ Green chili (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
Step 1 – Cook the ground beef in a dry pan until it changes color and loses its raw smell.

Step 2 – Add the rest of the ingredients — soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, water, and the boiled quail eggs — all at once.

Step 3 – Let it simmer until the sauce thickens a bit.
Step 4 – If you like it spicy, add the sliced green chili at the end.
