Korean Soy braised Quail Eggs

A simple Korean soy-braised quail eggs dish with chicken and garlic, simmered in a savory-sweet sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts about 300g
  • 25 quail eggs, boiled and peeled
  • 8 garlic whole
  • 1–2 fresh chili peppers sliced
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 200 ml water
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar

Method
 

  1. Boil quail eggs for 4–5 minutes, cool, and peel.
  2. Boil chicken for 10 minutes, then shred or slice.
  3. In a pot, combine soy sauce, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add chicken, quail eggs, and garlic.
  5. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until flavors are absorbed.
  6. Add chili at the end and cook briefly.
