Crispy Tofu in Korean Sweet & Spicy Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g firm tofu cut into cubes
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 50 ml water

Method
 

  1. Pat the tofu dry as much as possible.
  2. Cut into bite-sized pieces
  3. Coat with cornstarch evenly.
  4. Cook in oil until golden and crispy.
  5. In another pan, combine all sauce ingredients.
  6. Simmer for about 1 minute.
  7. Add tofu and toss quickly.
  8. Serve immediately.
